These Terms and Conditions govern the sale of goods through VehicleCharging.eu (the “Website”) and form part of every contract concluded through it. They are drawn up in accordance with Czech law, in particular Act No. 89/2012 Coll. (the Civil Code) and Act No. 634/1992 Coll. (on consumer protection), and with the applicable law of the European Union.
1. Seller

2. Who these terms apply to
A consumer is a person acting outside their trade, business or profession. Abusiness customer is a person acting in the course of a trade or business, including by providing a company or VAT identification number when ordering. Certain rights below (in particular the right of withdrawal and statutory consumer guarantees) apply to consumers only.
3. How a contract is concluded
The presentation of goods on the Website is an invitation to order and is not a binding offer. You place an order by completing and submitting the order form. The contract is concluded when we confirm your order by e-mail (the order confirmation). We may decline an order, for example where goods are unavailable or the price was clearly incorrect. You confirm that you have read and accept these Terms when placing an order.
4. Prices and VAT
- Prices are shown in euros (EUR) and include any packaging surcharges stated at checkout.
- Value Added Tax (VAT) is applied according to the rules of the European Union. For deliveries within the EU, VAT is charged at the rate of the country of delivery(the destination Member State), in line with the EU distance-selling / One-Stop-Shop rules.
- Business customers in another EU Member State who provide a valid VAT identification number (verified in the EU VIES system) are invoiced without VAT under the reverse-charge mechanism for intra-Community supplies; the customer accounts for VAT in their own country. If the number cannot be validated, VAT is charged as for a consumer.
- For deliveries outside the EU, no EU VAT is charged. Any import duties, taxes and customs charges in the destination country are payable by the customer.
- The final price, including the applicable VAT and any delivery charge, is always shown before you submit the order and on the invoice.
5. Payment
Available payment methods are shown at checkout (for example card payment or bank transfer). Goods remain our property until the price is paid in full. A tax invoice is issued and sent to you electronically.
6. Delivery
We deliver across Europe using the carriers shown at checkout. Shipping is charged as a flat rate per destination group and always includes VAT, so the delivery total shown at checkout does not change with the destination’s VAT rate; orders above the applicable group threshold are shipped free. Personal pickup is available at our office in Olomouc, Czech Republic. For consumers, the risk of damage passes when you or a carrier designated by you (other than one we offered) takes delivery of the goods; for business customers, risk passes on hand-over to the first carrier.
7. Right of withdrawal (consumers)
If you are a consumer buying at a distance, you have the right to withdraw from the contract within14 days without giving any reason, under Directive 2011/83/EU. The period runs from the day on which you (or a third party indicated by you) take physical possession of the goods.
- To withdraw, tell us of your decision by a clear statement (e.g. e-mail toinfo@vehiclecharging.eu) before the period ends. You may use the model withdrawal form but it is not obligatory.
- Return the goods without undue delay and no later than 14 days after you notify us. You bear the direct cost of returning the goods.
- We refund all payments received, including standard delivery, within 14 days of being informed, using the same means of payment; we may withhold the refund until we receive the goods or proof of return.
- You are liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning.
- The right of withdrawal does not apply to goods that are made to your specification or clearly personalised, and to other cases set out in law.
8. Warranty and conformity
For consumers, goods must be in conformity with the contract and we are liable for a lack of conformity under Directive (EU) 2019/771 and Czech law; the statutory guarantee period is24 months from receipt. This is separate from, and additional to, any commercial warranty offered by us or the manufacturer. The 24-month period is the statutory minimum for consumers; for selected products we offer a longer commercial warranty (for example 36 months), in which case the longer period stated on the product page or in the accompanying documentation applies. Rights of business customers are governed by the Civil Code.
9. Complaints (claims)
If goods are defective, contact us at info@vehiclecharging.eu or at the address in section 1 with a description of the defect and proof of purchase. We will confirm receipt of your claim and, for consumers, resolve it without undue delay and no later than 30 days, unless we agree a longer period with you. Depending on the defect you may be entitled to repair, replacement, a price reduction or withdrawal from the contract, as provided by law.
10. Out-of-court dispute resolution
Consumers may bring a dispute that cannot be settled directly to theCzech Trade Inspection Authority (Česká obchodní inspekce),www.coi.cz, which is the competent body for the out-of-court settlement of consumer disputes. You may also use the European Commission’s Online Dispute Resolution platform atec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
11. Liability
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for defective products. Subject to that, our liability for business customers is limited to the value of the order.
12. Intellectual property
All content on the Website (text, images, logos and design) is protected and may not be used without our prior written consent, except as permitted by law.
13. Governing law
These Terms and any contract concluded under them are governed by the law of the Czech Republic. If you are a consumer, you retain the protection of the mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence.
14. Changes
We may amend these Terms; the version in force at the time of your order applies to that order. The current version, with its “last updated” date, is always available on this page.
